What We Believe
-
We believe the Bible is God's perfect and infallible word, inspired by the Holy Spirit and showing His will for humanity. It serves as the ultimate authority for the Christian life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
-
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. While each member of the Trinity serves a different function, they possess equal power and authority.
-
We believe Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, crucified, and resurrected. Today, He sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate. (Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 12:2)
-
We believe personal salvation and the forgiveness of sins come exclusively through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ. Every person needs God's grace and mercy, which is received through faith in Christ alone. (Romans 3:23-24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 1:9)
-
We believe water baptism is a public declaration of faith for individuals who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ. Water baptism does not save us. Instead, it symbolizes the burial of the old self and our resurrection into a new life with Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-39; Romans 6:4)
-
We believe in the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit to glorify Jesus Christ, guide believers, and empower us for a lifestyle of service. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit did not cease with the Apostles; they are active, vital, and available to believers today. (John 16:13-14; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11)
-
We believe in the visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ and eagerly anticipate His arrival. His return will bring the bodily resurrection of all believers, both dead and alive, to spend eternity with Him. (Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
